Toronto has some incredible immersive art destinations, where creativity and technology intertwine to redefine artistic experiences.

Arcadia Earth is an immersive art and technology experience aimed at inspiring visitors to contribute towards a more sustainable future. The project combines creative art installations with technology to showcase the beauty of the planet and the impact of human actions on the environment.

2. Artmosphere at CN Tower

Artmosphere, located 113 storeys above Toronto as part of the CN Tower’s Lower Observation Level, offers an immersive and interactive art showcase featuring original works by Canadian artists.

There are state-of-the-art video walls displaying animated representations of original works by Canadian artists, including Indigenous artists.

Current artists include:

  • Annwin Manitowabi: Mixed-First Nations Ojibway visual artist, drawing inspiration from Indigenous roots.

  • Phillipe Blanchard: Toronto-based artist, animator, and educator exploring cultural notions of time and space.

  • Santee Smith: Multidisciplinary artist from Kahnyen’kehaka Nation, founder of Kaha:wi Dance Theatre.

  • Alejandro Basulto: Mexican award-winning composer from Latin-American.

Daydream Adventures in Toronto offers an immersive art escape room experience, featuring hand-crafted rooms by local artists. The escape rooms provide a unique blend of art and puzzles, creating a magical and unforgettable adventure suitable for all ages.

Each escape room is a hand-crafted alternate world, providing a level of immersion that makes participants forget they are in an escape room.

Participants embark on an adventure, solving interactive puzzles and completing a mission within the immersive art.

4. Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit at Lighthouse ArtSpace Toronto

Lighthouse Artspace presents the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Toronto, a mesmerizing experience brought to you by the creators of the Paris blockbuster show. Step into 600,000 cubic feet of stunning projection, bringing Van Gogh’s masterpieces to life in unprecedented detail. Wander through giant projections showcasing his iconic works, from sunny landscapes to starry nights. Featuring famous pieces like The Potato Eaters and Starry Night, this exhibition offers a new perspective on the Master’s art.

5. Illuminarium Toronto

Illuminarium Toronto offers cutting-edge immersive entertainment, taking the visitor on a sensory journey. Located in the vibrant Distillery District, they host a variety of shows, nightlife extravaganzas, and community events.
